Hundreds of Mass Demos at the Myanmar Embassy
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- The Executive Board of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) condemned the humanitarian tragedy of the Rohingyas in the state of Rakhine, Myanmar.
"PMII strongly condemns the act of massacre and murder committed against our brother ethnic Rohingya," said Chairman of PMII PM Agus M Herlambang in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (02/09/2017)
The PMII urged the Burmese government to take a decisive step to end the humanitarian conflict that has lasted for several years.
He said that regardless of the type of case and the problem, it is possible that the state is present to seek common ground and settle the humanitarian problem that has claimed the lives of thousands of people.
"Unless the Government of Myanmar itself is the mastermind of this conflict," said Agus.
The PMII supports the government of the Republic of Indonesia to engage in an end to the humanitarian tragedy that struck the Rohingnya ethnic majority of Muslims.
In fact, the PMII urged the Indonesian government to expel Myanmar's embassy from Indonesia if the humanitarian problem is not resolved.
"Undeniably recently again we stroked the chest to see a series of massacres to our brothers in Rohingya," said Agus
