Antam and Pos Indonesia Expand Sales Reach in 205 Post Offices

Quoting information disclosure on BEI, the cooperation was marked by the launching of stage 2 at Post Office Manado, September 11, 2017 witnessed by Director of Network, Retail and Human Resources Pos Indonesia, Ira Puspa Dewidan Marketing Director ANTM, Tatang Hendra.

This cooperation is conducted to facilitate the public to buy gold Antam in all Post Office in Indonesia and as a means of leveraging each business SOEs. For Antam with this partnership, the marketing network of gold products is becoming more widespread and becoming one of the increasing service to consumers.

As for Pos Indonesia, this cooperation enhances revenue through new service business with the walk-in customer market segment, establishing a positive image that Pos Indonesia has been able to handle goods shipment in the category of valuable goods, increasing the competitiveness of the company by competitors, and also educate people to invest or save by buying gold for the future.

Antam's Marketing Director Tatang Hendra said Antam is committed to good operational implementation practices, from exploration, mining, environmental management, processing and refining to sales.

"The cooperation with Pos Indonesia is expected to support the Company's gold business performance through a stronger product distribution network will further lure Antam as the only LBMA certified gold producer (London Bullion Market Association) that ensures heavy certainty and purity of gold.

Furthermore, Antam will use the Pos Indonesia service in terms of shipping LM gold from the nearest LM gold boutique to the location of the Purchase Office. A total of 205 Post Offices throughout Indonesia are part of the cooperation agreement between ANTAM and Pos Indonesia. Customers can already order LM gold from 0.5 gram up to 50 gram at 205 Post Office since September 11, 2017.
