Ministry of Industry: The Rock Wool Industry Growing More

"This momentum also becomes an indication that Indonesia is a promising country for investment as well as a very potential market," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Haris Munandar on the inauguration of the third production line of PT. Nichias Rockwool Indonesia factory in Cikampek, Karawang, West Java, Thursday (14/09/2017).

Haris said, the government gives appreciation to the company. In addition to being the only company engaged in natural downstream industry into fiber, Nichias Rockwool Indonesia also seeks to apply the latest technology in its production process, especially for the smelting method. "The use of this new technology certainly brings benefits to companies and the environment," he said.

In addition, the use of energy-friendly and efficient technologies will save natural resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. "This is in line with government programs to create a green industry that is environmentally friendly and sustainable," added Haris.

Secretary General hopes PT. Nichias Rockwool Indonesia can actively conduct research and development to diversify products so as to meet future consumer needs and enhance the competitiveness of the company.
