Skytrain service at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is free for passengers

INDUSTRY.co.id - Tangerang - Unmanned train or skytrain at Soekarno-Hatta Airport has officially started operation on Sunday (17/9/2017) yesterday. In the first phase of operation, this mode of light rail transport only operates at certain times only, that is at 07:00 to 10:00 pm, then from 13:00 to 14:00 pm, and from 17:00 to 19:00 pm.
This is done to evaluate the facility and record if there are still shortcomings that must be completed. "This will be applied until the end of the year, can only operate fully," said Public Relations Manager PT Angkasa Pura II Yado Yarismano, Friday (15/09/2017) ago.
Previously, PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin confirmed that unmanned or skytrain train service at Soekarno-Hatta Airport would be free.
"The use of skytrain by airplane passengers or airport visitors is not at all charged," Awaluddin said in the middle of last month.
Awaluddin said, his side is planning full operational skytrain by the end of 2017. Director General of Railways Ministry of Transportation has verified and issued a certificate of passing the test, thus the operation of the skytrain is in accordance with the specified schedule.
