Minister of Industry: Archives Are Like Gold

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) launched the Archive Conscious National Movement (GNSTA) in order to implement the archive that is capable of supporting the reform program of the Ministry of Industry's bureaucracy.

"Archives or our data is like gold, the management of the archives are very helpful to help the work of the process of digitizing the archive is very important to facilitate the search and maintain archives," said Minister of Industry (Menperin), Airlangga Hartarto at the Ministry of Industry, Jakarta, Wednesday (20/09/2017) .

Menperin added, to build a clean, effective, democratic, trustworthy and accountable governance, especially in central and local work units, then all Kemenperin leadership must implement GNSTA.

"GNSTA is needed to improve the quality of archiving in all work units of the Ministry of Industry," he explained.

According to him, GNSTA should be implemented professionally with improvements in various aspects such as policy aspects, organization, human resources archives, facilities and infrastructure, archive management, and funding in the field of archives.

"With the commitment of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry regarding the implementation of GNSTA, we instruct all the leaders and apparatus of the work unit to immediately implement the GNSTA program," said Airlangga.
