INDUSTRY.co.id - Makassar - South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) said "groundbreaking" or laying the first stone of the construction of the Pettarani toll overpass project in Makassar as planned starting 12 October 2017.

"On October 12, we will build a toll flyover in Makassar like in Cengkareng," said South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo in Makassar yesterday.

The project called "Pettarani Toll Road Makassar" was indeed expected to be done soon. Because the condition of congestion due to the capacity of vehicles that pass on Jalan AP Pettarani Makassar on every day is so high.

For this project, this AP Pettarani toll road is planned to be built along 4.3 km. This road will be connected with several main segments in Daeng city. "Insya Allah (certainty groundbreaking) can be done," he told the media crew d Makassar.

Related to the budget needed, he certainly expect a lot to the state budget. The governor of the two periods even admitted that the toll road project should be from the state budget.

"I am trying again and hopefully, but in South Sulawesi it has priority to bond up to Rp 3 trillion, so if the budget is Rp1.3 trillion, then the central government can certainly and have the feasibility," he explained.

Previously, SYL claimed to have done the calculation of funds related to the idea of ​​building toll kites that can be realized with the commitment of all parties both the DPRD and the Government of Makassar.

"The country's trust in South Sulawesi is quite high, we can help the budget up to Rp 3 trillion," he explained.
