Communities Asked to Utilize WP and KUR Funds

To get the WP fund, the prospective entrepreneur must send an e-business proposal to www.pembiayaan.depkop.go.id with the largest amount of venture capital given 35 million rupiah.

The funds can be accessed at a number of government-appointed channeling banks, such as BRI, BNI, Bank Mandiri, and several other banks.
In addition to KUR, continued Prakoso, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs through the Institution Management Fund Rolling Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (LPDB-KUMKM) also prepare financing with a light interest rate that is 4.5-6 percent per year.
The government, he said, is committed to keep increasing the number of entrepreneurs in the country. Lily himself is one of the WP fund recipients in 2015 who has now been successful with his Natural Batik business. Before getting WP and training from Kemenkop and UKM, turnover is only about 1.5 million per month, but now has grown to 10 million rupiah per month.
