Tokopedia - JNE Cooperate Online Payment Channel

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- "Marketplace" Tokopedia is partnering with PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) shipping company in the form of online shopping transaction payment channel in 200 JNE representative offices in Indonesia.

Tokopedia co-founder William Tanuwijaya in a press conference in Jakarta on Monday (16/10/2017) said the choice of JNE as a payment service partner is due to the breadth of the provider network of goods delivery as well as the characteristics of "marketplace" that sellers and buyers spread all over Indonesia.

"JNE has been our partner for the past eight years." The JNE booth is everywhere, so it's a potential for those who do not have a bank account to keep trading online by making cash payments at the nearest JNE office, "he said.

William explained that the payment method cooperation at JNE representative office is expected to support the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT) even though the payment at the JNE counter still uses cash.

"At least we are starting to change the habit of the people to conduct online transactions," he said.

President Director of JNE Muhammad Feriadi, on the same occasion, explained at the age of the company that will step 27 years on 26 November, it wants to continue to provide optimal service to customers.

According to Feriadi, cooperation with one of the "marketplace" was done to anticipate the growth of the "e-commerce" market.

To be able to make payments at the JNE counter, buyers can make shopping transactions in Tokopedia as usual.

Then, when you're going to the "Choose Payment Methods" page, buyers can choose to pay at JNE's retail outlet at the very bottom.

After agreeing to the terms and conditions mentioned, buyers are just waiting for payment code which will be submitted to JNE outlet when making payment of purchase transaction.

Payments will be directly verified so that the delivery of goods can be done immediately.
