Expand Network, Anadolu Agency Launches News in Bahasa

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency is developing an international wing with an Indonesian news service on Monday evening (23/10/2017) in Jakarta. Anadolu Agency becomes the 12th language service, the Indonesian news service can be accessed at www.aa.com.tr/id. Anadolu Agency news has been used by 1,694 subscribers from 45 countries.

"Anadolu Agency Indonesia bureau is the proximity of Turkey and Indonesia, we hope our friendship and brotherhood will be stronger in all aspects of life," said Deputy Director General Anadolu Agency, Mustafa Ozkaya.

He said Indonesia is a priority country Anadolu Agency. With a population of over 260 million, Indonesia has an important position in the Asia Pacific region.

Turkey and Indonesia have historical closeness in the past. The inauguration of Anadolu Agency of the Indonesian news service is an effort to re-attach, while strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, by broadcasting interesting stories about Indonesian life to the world in 12 languages.

Meanwhile, Head of Anadolu Agency Indonesia Bureau Dandy Koswaraputra said Anadolu Agency Indonesia has started its activities since last July.

With a crew of 20 journalists spread across Jakarta, Ankara and Istanbul, Anadolu Indonesia Jakarta bureau produces about 50 news, 40 photos and 2 videos daily. "Our team is not much, but solid," he concluded

He added that Anadolu Agency also has a news network of more than 40 cities in the world, with representative journalists in 97 countries and employees of 74 nationalities.
