Manufacture Tax Payments Reached Rp224.95 Trillion in Quarter III-2017

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto revealed, the manufacturing industry is able to contribute through tax payments.
Based on the report from the Directorate General of Taxation of the Ministry of Finance, the realization of tax revenues from the industrial sector until the third quarter of 2017 reached Rp224.95 trillion or grew 16.63 percent over the same period in the previous year.
The above achievements of the trade sector contributed Rp134, 74 trillion, finance Rp104, 92 trillion, construction Rp35, 40 trillion, communication information Rp32, 19 trillion, mining Rp31, 66 trillion, and other sectors Rp156, 19 trillion.
"This shows the performance of the national processing industry is still positive," Airlangga stressed in Jakarta (29/10/2017).
Airlangga appealed to the business people to take advantage of various economic policy packages that have been issued by the government and aims to ease in running business in the country.
The Ministry of Industry also continues to encourage the manufacturing industry not only to target the domestic market, but also to seize the opportunity of overseas share.
"We hope that people's purchasing power will increase, because the current industry volume is supported by the export market," he said.
In the first half of 2017, non-oil and gas processing industry exports reached USD59.78 billion, up 10.05 percent compared to the same period in 2016 of USD54.32 billion.
The export of non-oil and gas processing industry contributed 74.76 percent of the total national exports in the first half of 2017 which reached USD79.96 billion.
