Tomorrow, Becakayu Toll Will Be Inaugurated

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta -Presiden Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the Bekasi, Cawang and Kampung Melayu toll road on November 3, 2017. The segment is 1B connecting Cipinang Kayu-Pangkalan Jati and 1 C connecting Jati-Jaka Sampurna base.

"Yes, the plan (inaugurated) November 3," said Head of Toll Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Herry TZ to the media crew on Thursday (2/11/2017)

Herry has not been able to determine whether the toll is immediately commercially applicable or free as an early stage. "Often there are stages of testing first, yes look at it later," he said.

Regarding toll tariff, it also has not disclosed. "But at the time of entry, when operated with tariffs, there is a charge," he said.

Becakayu toll road itself has not been completed completely. Because, there are still some segments in the development process. Herry said, if this toll is completed it will cut the significant time to travel from Bekasi to Jakarta and vice versa.
