Hold Young on Top, LPDB Develop Young Entrepreneur

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB) KUMKM explores cooperation with young Indonesian entrepreneurs community based on Social Media named 'Young on Top' (YoT) in socialization of LPDB program, especially in developing entrepreneurship in Indonesia.

 "We will cooperate in the framework of strategic partners with Young on Top to promote and develop entrepreneurial spirit in Indonesia, especially on access to capital", said LPDB-KUMKM President Director Braman Setyo, after receiving the visit of Chairman Young on Top Billy Boen at LPDB- KUMKM, Jakarta, Friday (3/11).

LPDB-KUMKM from 2008 to end of October 2017, has realized a revolving fund of Rp 8.4 trillion for 4300 partners of cooperatives and SMEs throughout Indonesia.

Braman added that starting next year LPDB-KUMKM will prepare a revolving fund of Rp100 billion for strengthening the capital of young entrepreneurs, including start-up business.

"Together with Young on Top, we will conduct socialization related to the strengthening program of capital for entrepreneurs in Indonesia, whether it is conventional based business, or sharia," said Braman.

Related to that, according to Braman, it will synergize LPDB-KUMKM with the Office in charge of Cooperatives and SMEs in 34 provinces with Young on Top events.

"It is also possible that they will recommend which entrepreneurs and SMEs should get the revolving fund capitalization, but we must decide and must comply with the existing standards and SOPs in LPDB-KUMKM", explained Braman.

In addition to strengthening of capital, Braman hopes this cooperation will also be a means of monitoring the benefits of LPDB-KUMKM in the field, especially among young entrepreneurs. "In addition, I also hope that strategic partners with YoT can improve LPDB-KUMKM rating in Social Media world", said Braman again.

On the same occasion, Billy Boen explains, Young On Top community or commonly abbreviated YoT, a community whose goal is to motivate young people to achieve success at a young age. YoT's position in strategic cooperation with LPDB-KUMKM will be as mentoring for young entrepreneurs who have received revolving fund and who will receive (prospective partners).

"Especially mentoring for entrepreneurs who have become partners and potential partners LPDB to build entrepreneur character, including Social Mediamentoring and social behavior better", Billy said.
