Bank Mandiri Pays Rp1.4 Trillion Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk disbursed Rp1,437 trillion to PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk in a syndicated financing project to build the elevated Jakarta-Cikampek II toll road.
Senior Vice President of Bank Mandiri Corporate Banking Dikdik Yustandi in Jakarta, Tuesday (7/11/2017) said Mandiri will act as a syndicated leader or "Joint Mandated Lead Arranger (JMLA) and Bookrunner".
"We hope the existence of the Jakarta-Cikampek II 'Elevated' toll road will improve connectivity and accelerate the distribution of goods and passengers in Java Island," he told the media crew.
The total syndicated loans disbursed to Waskita Karya for this project amounted to Rp5.14 trillion.
Dikdik explained that Mandiri is targeting the increase of credit for infrastructure development. For the construction of toll roads, the total loan portfolio from Mandiri as a whole is Rp9.4 trillion as of September 2017, up by 12 percent (year on year / yoy). Mandiri's financing commitments amounted to Rp15 trillion.
The Jakarta-Cikampek II toll road is planned to have a length of 36 kilometers.
The Jakarta-Cikampek II toll road development consists of nine sections: Cikunir-Bekasi Barat Section (2.99 km), West Bekasi Section-East Bekasi (3.63 km), East-Tambun Bekasi Section (4.34 km), Section Tambun-Cibitung (3.30 km), Cibitung-Cikarang Main Section (4.46 km).
Then Section Cikarang Utama-West Cikarang (2.72 km), Cikarang Barat-Cibatu Section (3.16 km), Cibatu-East Cikarang Section (2.45 km) and East Cikarang Section-West Karawang (9.79 km) .
