INDUSTRY.co.id - Banjarmasin - Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of South Kalimantan, Nurul Fajar Desira said that the plan to build the toll road from Batulicin to Banjarbaru is one of infrastructure supporting the development of Special Economic Zones (KEK) Batulicin.
According to Fajar in Banjarmasin, Tuesday, the establishment of Batulicin industrial area, as one of the four National Strategic Programs (PSN) of South Kalimantan, will make the area grow faster than in previous years.
Supporting the acceleration of the development of the industrial estate, he added, the provincial government is seeking acceleration of toll road development along about 100 kilometers, from Batulicin to Banjarbaru.
"The road is to connect, industrial areas with trade centers and other regional economic centers," he told media crews.
According to Dawn, it is expected that by 2019, the construction of the toll road, already included in Detail Engineering Design (DED).
In DED construction works can be interpreted as the product of the planner consultant, commonly used in making a detailed drawing of civil buildings such as buildings, swimming pools, roads, bridges, dams, and other construction works.
"The road construction cost plan is quite large, reaching Rp 2 trillion, so it will be studied in more detail, whether the development is purely by the government, or inviting the private sector," he said.
The plan, from 100 kilometers of road construction, for its toll road along 58 kilometers, and the rest is the road supporters.

"This program will bring tremendous follow-up impacts, not just the substantial absorption of local manpower, as well as economic growth around the site, especially in South Kalimantan," he said.
With regard to land and business entities, it is ready, now the development of infrastructure, roads, electricity supply clean water and others, which will continue to be addressed and developed.
