Indonesia-South Korea Agrees to Cooperate in Transportation Industry Sector

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bogor - A total of 3 (three) Memorandums of Understanding have been signed in a bilateral meeting of the Government of Indonesia (GOI) delegation led by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) with a South Korean Government delegation led by President Moon Jae- In, at the Presidential Palace of Bogor, West Java, on Thursday (9/11/217) night.
The three MoUs are: 1. Signing of Industry Sector by Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto with Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Paik Un Gyu;
2. Signing of Transportation Sector by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi with Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hun-Mee; and 3. The signing of the Health Sector by the Minister of Health Nila Moeloek and Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha.
In the bilateral meeting the Korean President was accompanied by Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Paik Un Gyu, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hun-Mee, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Korea to Republic Indonesia Cho Tai Yung, as well as special staff and other deputies.
President Jokowi was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Puan Maharani, Pramono Anung, State Secretary Pratikno, Airlangga Hartarto Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi Minister, Nila Moeloek Health Minister and BKPM Head Thomas Lembong.
Earlier President Jokowi had invited South Korean President Moon Jae-in to visit BTM shopping mall, in Bogor. On that occasion, Moon bought a red batik and choose a blue batik for Jokowi.
In addition to buying batik, Moon also took a drink at one of the tea stalls located not far from the batik shop.
