He said the Destika Festival is useful to equate perceptions about rural development. Village building program is a program of Nawacita President Jokowi. This is the fifth event after the first in Banyumas, Second Majalengka, Third Belitung East, and Fourth in Jayapura Papua.
Villages are not only the object of development but should be the subject of development. ICTs are expected to be transparent villages in village and self-management funds, village potential management, village development planning, and transparency of the village financial system.
The Destika festival is entitled "Terhampus Bumi Pemalang Pusere Jawa, Desa Bersuara untuk Indonesia" is expected to be a support for economic growth, tourism and business world in rural areas as a form of development from the outskirts of Pemalang Regency.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Department of Communications and Information Technology Pemalang Ahmad Hidayat said the festival also coincided with the festival Wong Gunung, with the planting of 5,000 palm trees.

The opening of the festival is scheduled to be held at Turangga Seta tourism object, Karangpoh hamlet, Pulosari Village.
