Central Java Ready to Accept State-Owned Investors

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) will promote the investment of Central Java in the Central Java Investment Business Forum (CJIBF) event held in Solo, Central Java, on Thursday (23/11/2017).
Deputy of Investment Promotion Himawan Hariyoga in a press release in Jakarta, Wednesday (22/11/2017), said the activities initiated by Central Java Provincial Government is the effort BKPM promote investment opportunities in the region.
"In the CJIBF forum which is an initiative of the Central Java Provincial Government there are several leading investment sectors to be offered, including tourism, various sectors of industry from garment, furniture to metal industry, then property sector and agriculture and mining sector," he said.
Head of BKPM Thomas Lembong is scheduled to become the main speaker in the CJIBF activity after accompanying President Joko Widodo to Sarawak, Malaysia.
Besides the Head of BKPM, CJIBF also presented several speakers from the Ministry of Tourism and Bank Indonesia.
In the event, approximately 300 entrepreneurs and foreign investors will be invited to disseminate information on investment opportunities offered by Central Java province.
Himawan hoped that the implementation of CJIBF could have a positive impact on the realization of incoming investment in Central Java Province as the host.
"We are concerned that the positive achievement of Central Java Province as one of the main contributors in the achievement of investment realization will certainly have a positive impact on the national achievement," he said.
