PLN Signed MoU with Developers of Sumatera Industrial Estate

PLN signed an MoU with several major companies such as industrial estates and gold mining areas.
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT PLN (Persero) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several major companies such as industrial estates and gold mining areas located in the working area of PLN in South Sumatera, Jambi and Bengkulu (WS2JB).
This MoU was signed by GM PT PLN (Persero) WS2JB Daryono, Owner and manager of Sriwijaya CBD-Industrial Area Intan Fitriana Fauzi, located in Palembang City, BUMD Tanjung Apiapi South Sumatera Special Economic Region represented President Director of IGB Surya Negara and Adi Adriansyah from PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk in Palembang, last weekend.
This cooperation refers to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 Year 2009 concerning the electricity that every power installation is required to have Operation Feasible Certificate (SLO) as well as ESDM Regulation No. 28 of 2016 on provisions on the implementation of electricity tariff provided by PT PLN (Persero).
"The installation of electrical connections is also part of an effort to accelerate the electrification ratio," said Daryono as GM PT PLN (Persero) WS2JB in the release, Monday (27/11/2017).
He also said the power supply in South Sumatra is sufficient and even a surplus. With the surplus of power, PLN has more capability to serve the demand of electricity supply, both from society and industry.
PLN provides Electrical Installation Services at an agreed Service Quality Level to a region-owned installation. In addition, PLN will build a distribution network and the Measuring and Limiting Instrument (APP) for the purpose of power distribution in the Area.
"Further implementation of this Memorandum of Understanding will be regulated in detail in the Power Sale and Purchase Agreement with respect to applicable laws and regulations," Daryono added.
Meanwhile, the owner and manager of Sriwijaya Industrial Estate Palembang, Intan Fitriana Fauzi, said the new Power Connection Approval agreement is in line with the provision of obtaining electricity with premium services.
The ratio of power requirement of Industrial Area is around 60 megawatt for an area of about 300 hectares. For that, the Sriwijaya Industrial Estate CBD will distribute electricity.
