Len Launches mPOS + For Non-Cash Relief Ministry of Social Affairs

The event is a channel of Non-cash social assistance Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) cooperation between PT Len Industri and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).

Meanwhile, Len Industry's President Director, zakky Gamal Yasin said Len EDC mPOS + as a tool supporting the activity only requires fingerprint verification in its use.
"This device is easy to carry (mobile) and does not require PC (computer), so it is more practical and quick and can even open an account and credit application because there is a digital signing facility and authentication ID card with fingerprint," said Zakky via press release to INDUSTRY.co.id in Bandung, West Java, Thursday (30/11/2017).
Len has successfully created mPOS + (Mobile Points Of Sales Plus). mPOS + is a KTP-el reader device equipped with smart mobile POS to conduct payment transactions in merchants or banking transactions like EDC (Electronic Data Capture) usage.
This device can perform 4 types of payment transactions using magnetic stripe card, IC card, NFC and payment through barcode with the help of camera scanning. With the support of mobile networks and Android operating systems that have been modified to facilitate the process of identity acquisition quickly so as to provide more secure, faster and more stable transaction services.
In addition, the advantages of mPOS + made by Len is able to conduct transactions offline which can reach all areas of Indonesia without exception. This is a major advantage not possessed by conventional EDC devices and the presence of fingerprint scanners to ensure secure transactions.
As is known, the distribution of non-cash social assistance has been started since November 2016. This distribution is a major revolutionary leap in the history of poverty alleviation programs in Indonesia even in the world.
In the past, beneficiaries had to go to the post office to disburse the social help and had to queue for a long time because of the same time it took. So now with the non-cash system through the banking system, will be served much more effectively. They can now directly access through Len EDC mPOS + HIMBARA bank and Local Government Bank.
