President Jokowi Together with Women in Papua Commemorate Mother's Day

INDUSTRY.co.id - Raja Ampat - President Joko Widodo said the commemoration of National Mother Day also commemorates the Papuan Mama-Mama Day.

Jokowi on this occasion also congratulated "89th National Mother Day 2017 this theme: "Women Empower Indonesia Jaya".

Jokowi said that the celebration of Mother's Day in Indonesia is very istinewa because the celebration is important for Indonesian women for the country and nation.

"Since Indonesian women work in Indonesian independence, Indonesian women should be more empowered, so I welcome the theme of this Mother's Day, Empowered Women, Indoensia Jaya," he said.

On this occasion, the President said the Working Cabinet has given large portions to women by placing nine female ministers.

"So in the Working Cabinet, now there are nine ministers of women and Indonesia is one of the countries in the world with the most women ministers," he said.

The President also mentioned the success in the field of human and cultural development led by Puan Maharani, the success in the field of diplomacy because the minister of women Retno Lp Marsudi.

"Then in the financial field of Sri Mulyani, then in the field of marine and fisheries this, namely Mrs. Susi Pudjiastuti," said President.
