ADHI and KAI Signed Payment Procedure for Jabodebek LRT Construction

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta (ANTARA News) - PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) have signed the Payment Procedures for Light Rail Transit Infrastructure Development in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and Bekasi Regions.
"The agreement was made between the Directorate General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia with PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) at Gambir Station," Ki Syahgolang Permata Corporate Secretary of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk said in a press statement. Jakarta, Tuesday (26/12/2017).
The signing was done by Zulfikri, Director General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Harto, President Director of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk and Edi Sukmono, President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero).
"The construction of Jabodebek LRT Infrastructure Provision has a contract value of Rp22,827 billion including tax, which is not included with Interest During Construction (IDC) and Interest During Payment (IDP)," he said.
The contract value is aimed at one-phase development work with three cross-services, namely Cawang-Cibubur I Cross Service, Cawang-Kuningan-Dukuh Atas and Cross II Cawang-Bekasi Timur.
The payment of Jabodebek LRT is carried out by the Government through KAI based on the progress of the work that has been examined by the BPKP. LRT Jabodebek will be operated by PT KAI as mass transportation for the urban community.
Until to now the progress of Railway infrastructure development or Light Rail Transit Jabodebek region has reached 26.9%.
For the progress of each cross-service, namely: Cawang-Cibubur: 47.2%, Cawang-Kuningan-Dukuh Atas: 12.7%, Cawang-Bekasi Timur: 28.2%, and Depo: 0.3%.
"The progress of Light Rail Transit development in Jabodebek area is planned to be completed by 2019," Syahgolang said.
