Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Reviews Location Flow of the New Year

INDUSTRY.co.id - Yogyakarta - Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi reviews a number of locations that are predicted to occur during the density of home comers during the return flow of Christmas transport 2017 and New Year 2018 to ensure all preparations go well.

"Obviously we all hope that the implementation of the year-end holiday transport goes smoothly without any serious congestion," said Minister of Transportation Budi Karya in Yogyakarta, Saturday (30/12/2017)

Minister of Transportation during 30 December 2017 to 1 January 2018 will review a number of locations that become the travelers' homecoming points such as bus terminals, seaports and airports, stations and toll roads in Yogyakarta and Central Java.

During the working visit, the Minister of Transportation, among others, will go to Borobudur Temple and Tidar Terminal, Magelang, Central Java, conducting a bus susceptibility test to ensure proper use of passenger transport.

Next Minister of Transportation Budi and entourage to Semarang and will stop at the toll Bawen and Bus Terminal Bawen.

In Semarang, the Minister of Transportation will hold a dialogue as well as giving appreciation to transportation actors who support in the implementation of Christmas transport 2017 and New Year 2018 at Lawang Sewu Railway Museum.

Minister of Transportation during his stay in Semarang also reviewed Christmas and New Year's Post and Airport facilities Ahmad Yani, Semarang.

In addition it will also review the Port of Tanjung Emas and Poncol Station to monitor the readiness of the carrier in serving the passengers.

After in Semarang, Menhub uses helicopters to Batang and Pekalongan, Central Java, to review the Toll Gringsing, Batang District.

There, Budi visited the Integrated Posko of Christmas and New Year and the facilities and infrastructure of Toll Gringsing Toll.

A further review to Brebes for East Brebes Toll Gate to review the Integrated Christmas and New Year's Posts.

The visit of Menhub's homecoming review visit ended at Cikarang Toll Gate, West Java, to monitor the traffic of Cikarang vehicles entering the toll road.

"In the flow of homecoming of Christmas 2017 ago although there is still congestion but overall has been running well coordination between agencies," said Minister of Transportation. (Ant)
