INKA Prepares 13 Trainset Trains For These 3 Airports

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Industri Kereta Api (Inka) has prepared 13 trainset for Airport Train in three cities in Indonesia namely Jakarta, Solo and Padang.

"We are ready to supply 13 trainsets for three airports in Indonesia namely Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Adi Soemarmo International Airport and Minangkabau International Airport," said Finance Director and Human Resources of PT Industri Kereta Api (Inka) Muhammad Nur Sodiq in a written statement here on Tuesday (2/1/2017).

He said the cultivation of airport trains is done very seriously. In fact it also took the German railway industry, Bombardier, from the process of designing the train to workmanship.

"Our best trains will be present, we must prepare them carefully, we want to give the best to serve across international including to support tourism nationally," he said.

Inka itself has received airport train project for US $ 200.07 billion for the 13 trains of the airport.

For details, as much as 200 billion US dollars for 3 trainset at Minangkabau International Airport and Adi Soemarmo International Airport. While as much as 70 million US dollars for 10 trainset at Soekarno Hatta Airport.

"It is for the first phase, and in the future the needs will increase," he said.

The plan for airport train at Adi Soemarmo Airport will be delivered in April 2018. As for the airport train at Minangkabau Airport will start to be delivered around the end of February or early March 2018.

This year, Inka is targeting total revenue of up to Rp2.5 trillion. The nominal figure grew from last year's achievement of Rp1.8 trillion.
