INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - In order to raise the manufacturing industry, PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk together with Bekasi Industrial Tourism (BIT) will organize an educational tourism destination, one of them by holding "Indonesian Art Exhibition" at Jababeka Convention Center, Cikarang Bekasi on January 17 to 21 January 2017.
Chairman of Jababeka Group, SD Darmono, in his press conference on Thursday (4/1/2018) said that Jababeka's effort is to improve Indonesia's creative industry, because the image of Indonesia in art and culture is no less competitive with other developed countries.
"We hope President Jokowi can open this event," said Darmono.
The activities of Indonesian Art Exhibition, said Darmono, also became one of KIJA's strategies to create 150 million jobs while building 100 cities in Indonesia. "We also want to generate 100 million middle class coming from the industry," said the man who was born in Yogyakarta on 26 April 1949.
Joined in this exhibition, are the top galleries of Indonesia, featuring the works of five maestros of Indonesian art of OHD's version of Affandi, Kartika Afandi, Hendra Gunawan, Soedibio, H. Widayat, and 159 works of fine painting, sculpture, installation and various another famous form will be attended by dr. Oei Hong Djien, founder & collector of OHD Museum.
Jababeka also provides special services for VIP invited guests who can take advantage of helicopter service (Jakarta-Cikarang-Jakarta), shuttle bus and tourist train. For existing guests it is also possible to do industrial visit to industries within Jababeka Industrial Estate, professionally guided by team from Bekasi Industrial Tourism (BIT).
The exhibition, in collaboration with the DKV Study Program (Visual Communication Design) of President University, also featured President University Student Orchestra, as well as the President's Boarding School Marching Band, as well as various welcome dances from the President / SMP / SD students.
