Four KRL Stations Reorganized with IMO Cost in 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - There are at least four electric railway station (KRL) which reorganized by the government in 2018, in this case the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). The four KRL stations in question are Palmerah, Parung Panjang, Maja and Kebayoran Lama.
The rearrangement of all four KRL stations funded by Kemenhub using the cost from Infrastructure Maintenance and Operation (IMO).
The amount of IMO budgeted for 2018 reached Rp1, 335 trillion. In addition to the four KRL stations, the IMO fee will also be used to rearrange various other railway stations throughout Indonesia this year.
IMO fees are usually used to finance the maintenance of railway infrastructure, both periodic maintenance and repairs to restore functionality to be operational.
In addition, the costs are used to finance railway maintenance, bridge maintenance, railway station maintenance and maintenance of various railway operation facilities, such as signal, telecommunications, and upstream electricity (LAA).
"In addition, the IMO fee is also used to set the oversea; custody of rails, bridges, tunnels and official passes; lubrication of money orders and doorways for K3 (Hygiene, Beauty, Safety), "said Zulfikri, Director General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation, in Jakarta on Friday (05/01/2018).
IMO 2016 cost allocation is the follow up of the Minister of Transportation Decree number KP 1140/2017. The contents of the decree is the assignment of PT KAI to carry out maintenance and operation of state-owned railway infrastructure in 2018.
The MoM Decree has been issued on December 29, 2017. Meanwhile, IMO's cost allocation is only valid from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.
Zulkifri said, the allocation of IMO 2018 fee worth Rp1, 335 trillion is including value added tax (VAT) of 10%. The allocation of such costs is derived from the State Budget (APBN).
According to the 2018 IMO cost allocation, the maintenance of budgeted facilities includes Rp127.6 billion railway maintenance cost, Rp11.2 billion for bridge maintenance and signal maintenance, telecommunications and LAA worth Rp39.6 billion.
In addition, the cost of the personnel performing the treatment amounted to Rp219.2 billion and the general cost of maintaining public infrastructure amounting to Rp 900 million.
Meanwhile, the IMO 2018 cost allocation will also be used for direct infrastructure operating costs of Rp588.6 billion and indirect infrastructure operating costs worth Rp107.7 billion. (Abraham Sihombing)
