INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - During Christmas and New Year Holiday 2018, the number of passengers on the plane until 2 January has increased 6 percent compared to the same period.

Director General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Agus Santoso said yesterday, "The total number of passenger aircraft from December 18, 2017 to January 2, 2018 was 5.3 million people or 6 percent increase."

Meanwhile, international passengers slightly decreased by 1.83 percent from 737,016 passengers in the past period, to 723,560 passengers in the period this year.

Agus said he was satisfied and grateful for the performance of the national aviation operator so that the period of 2017/2018 runs smoothly until now. (Dina Astria)
