INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk is awarded a new coal mining service contract worth US $ 18 million from PT Jembayan Muarabara (JMB), a mining industry in East Kalimantan.
President Director of Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk, Iriawan Ibarat said the new contract has a minimum volume of 2 million metric tons per year. With a three-year contract period ending in 2020.
"The company is very optimistic that the minimum warranty volume of two million metric tons per year will be achieved in accordance with the agreed agreement," said Iriawan in an official statement received on Sunday (7/1/2018).
He added that under the cooperation contract Jembayan Muarabara will load coal in the barge of the company in loading Separi Mahakam terminal, Tenggarong Seberang and Kutai Kartanegara district in East Kalimantan.
According to him, Jembayan Muarabara is one of the trusted customers of the company since 2007, with the new contract proving the high trust of coal business actors to Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk performance in the logistics industry.
"In addition to the barging services, JMB is also a customer for coal load shipment in Floating Loading Facility service," said Iriawan.
PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk is a marine freight forwarder company in Indonesia that provides tugs and barges, floating loading facility, integrated floating crane facilities that provide value added to consumers.
