Vice Governor Ensure MRT Development Runs on Schedule

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta Sandiaga Salahudin Uno confirmed that Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Mass Rapid Development Project (MRT) takes place according to schedule.

"We make sure the MRT construction project in Jakarta keeps running as scheduled," Sandiaga said at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (9/1/2017)

The man who familiarly called Sandi also targeting rail-based mass transportation facilities that can be operated in March 2019.

"We are targeting that in March 2019 MRT will be operational, therefore we have to make sure the MRT Jakarta development is all on track," Sandi said.

Until now, he said the entire MRT project development process has reached 85 percent and so far no significant obstacles have been encountered.

"Especially considering that all the land acquisition for MRT development has been completed completely, so there are no significant obstacles," said Sandi.

He revealed in August 2018 will be tested MRT train that will continue to be implemented until March 2019 to ensure the operational safety of transportation facilities.

"The MRT train trial will be conducted from August 2018 to March 2019. We want to make sure the MRT can operate well and then it can only be used officially," Sandi said. (Ant)
