Vice President JK Optimistic Indonesia-Japan Relations More Optimal

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Vice President Jusuf Kalla is optimistic that cooperation between Indonesia and Japan can be optimized to be improved.
"Noting the dynamic of cooperation between the two countries, I am optimistic that there will be room to further optimize the cooperation," said the Vice President Kalla in the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Indonesia and Japan in Jakarta on Saturday (20/1/2018)
The relationship of friendship between the two countries is reflected in cooperation in various fields, including relations between Indonesian and Japanese communities, he said.
The Vice President hopes that through technical cooperation and capacity building between provinces or city brothers in Indonesia and Japan, it can further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
"I believe that heart-to-heart contact is the key that keeps us hand in hand, working together and moving forward as equal partners in the face of future challenges," explains Jusuf Kalla.
Meanwhile, Special Envoy of Japanese Prime Minister Toshihiro Nikai said it wanted to continue cooperation with Indonesia, in order to realize prosperity and a bright future for both countries.
"I want Japan and Indonesia to remain friendly from heart to heart and can think of what steps we should take 10-20 years or until 2045, to coincide with 100 years of Indonesian independence," Nikai said.
