INDUSTRY.co.id - Pamekasan - A number of seaweed farmers in Jumiang Beach, Tanjung Village, Pademawu Sub-district, harvest after several months ago to plant seaweed on the local beach, Sunday (21/1/2018) afternoon.

"This time it's time to harvest after a few months of planting, but this plant is only special for the type of seaweed season," said one farmer seaweed.

In addition to harvesting, farmers also immediately re-install the seaweed into the rope that is installed to re-planted.

"After the harvest we immediately re-planting, while it is still entering the rainy season, because, when it comes to the dry season, the type of seaweed we planted differently," he said.

"But for this type of seaweed, the price is much cheaper than the price of other types of seaweed. If this is the price of about Rp 14 thousand per kilogram (kg) .That is for the type of dried seaweed. If other types of prices more expensive," he explained . (bj)
