INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Industry (Menperin) Airlangga Hartarto received the visit of Cabot Corporation CEO and Board of Directors of PT Cabot Indonesia at the Ministry of Industry Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/1/2018).
"The visit of CEO and Board of Directors of PT Cabot Indonesia this time aims to develop the business that will be done," said Menperin Airlangga.
According to Airlangga, PT Cabot Indonesia in 2017 is capable of producing 79,230.66 MT of carbon black with a capacity of 86,000 MT years.
"In this visit, we focused on the reduction of import process of carbon black raw material to Indonesia," he explained.
In addition, continued Menperin, we also discuss related priorities to access local raw materials available, natural gas price reductions, and tax facilities for expansion plans.
Airlangga hopes that in the future, this plan will be able to develop carbon black industry in Indonesia with the use of local raw materials available.

Cabot is the world's largest and largest Carbon Black producer. The main products are special carbon black rubber band, inkjet dyes, metal oxide smoked, airgel and cesium drilling fluid.
