INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Garuda Indonesia Group targets a contract value worth US $ 2.4 billion at the Singapore Airshow 2018 event.

President Director of PT GIAA, Pahala N. Mansury in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (7/2/2018) said as part of "Sky Beyond 3.5" program, where Garuda Indonesia Group targets its valuation as a holding company of US $ 3.5 billion 2020, then it is time for Garuda Indonesia Group to be more aggressive in showing its capability as a solid aviation group.

"This is a form of group synergy, in which the company which is a regional aviation industry giant, will show its superiority as one stop aviation services," he said.

According to Pahala, for the company, the event is not only to achieve existence, but also to open opportunities for some business potential.

Garuda Indonesia Group will sign a number of business cooperation contracts with several domestic and international partners.

"The business potential in the form of cooperation initiated by each Garuda Indonesia Group company is expected to support market penetration, and expansion plan is also expected to be established at this moment," he explained.

As for the Singapore Airshow this year, Garuda Indonesia Group includes PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) as "mainbrand", as well as several subsidiaries such as PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI), PT Citilink Indonesia and PT Aerowisata.

Singapore Airshow 2018 will be held at Changi Exhibition Center, Singapore from 6-11 February 2018.

In the event, various aviation industry players will participate, including airframe companies, general aviation, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industries, aircraft engines, and airlines.
