Becakayu Toll Pier Head Falls, This is the Explanation From Waskita Karya

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Waskita Karya as the Becakayu toll contractor apologizes for the decline of pierhead formwork on the foundry work.

"We on behalf of PT Waskita Karya apologize for this incident," said Dono Parwoto Head of Division III PT Waskita Karya in a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/2/2018).

Dono said, the incident occurred at 03.00 am, at the time of casting 'pier head' with the condition of the concrete is still wet and 'formwork' declined to fall.

"There are 7 worker squads who are doing the casting and directly evacuated to the UKI hospital," he explained.

Related to the confusing news that said one person was seriously injured at East Jakarta Police Hospital, Dono insisted it was not true.

"There was one victim who was taken to the Police hospital, but after CT Scan was not found any harmful injuries," said Dono.

Meanwhile, Sri Handono as H3 Expert Staff Directorate of Bridge Directorate General of Highways Ministry of PUPR said, is still being investigated and still looking for documents related to field work.

"The cause is still we meticulously, technically still need research and take time," said Sri.

According to him, the first investigation we do to the document, after which there will be laboratory tests.

"In the laboratory test, of course, there will be other parties, I have not coordinated with which labo can test it," he added.

Related to how long the investigation, Dono asserted, in principle we will work as soon as possible for the completion of his investigation.

"We do not want to wait for long, we want to finish as soon as possible," said Sri.

During the investigation process, the Becakkayu toll road project will be temporarily suspended.

The Becakayu Toll Road Project is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) undertaken by PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk starting 2014 with a contract value of Rp7.23 trillion and has a length of 11 km.
