INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - KFC's fried chicken restaurant chain closed hundreds of stores in the UK and Ireland for a while. The reason is because of running out of chicken supply. Apparently there are technical constraints of chicken delivery through DHL's expedition companies to KFC outlets.

KFC itself has contracted a German expedition company, DHL, to send chickens to 575 KFC restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

"Due to administrative issues, some shipments become incomplete or delayed. We apologize for any inconvenience, "DHL said through his spokesman.

Through Twitter, British KFC whistles: "His chickens have crossed the street, but not to our restaurants. Sending fresh chicken to 900 restaurants is very complicated! "

Funnily enough, many KFC customers are protesting against the closure to the police station. The police in east London, acknowledged the large number of reports about the closure of KFC outlets.

"Please do not contact us again #KFCCrisis When your favorite restaurant does not serve the menu you want, it is not a police affair," said Tower Hamlets Police Station on Twitter.
