The Castrol-Magnatec Stop-Start Index report, released by British Castrol oil company, says drivers in Jakarta make 33,240 stop-starts per year, and drivers in Surabaya do 29,880 stop-starts.

Meanwhile, a study by Boston Consulting Group, in collaboration with Uber, revealed that drivers in Jakarta are on average stuck in traffic for 22 days per year.
