INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Blanja.com's CEO, Aulia Ersyah Marinto ensures that all UMKM products participating in Telkom Craft are local products.
"There are almost 400 MSMEs participating in Telkom Craft event this time, and I make sure everything is a local product, not a local trader or businessman," said Aulia when met after the opening of Telkom Craft at the Jakarta Convention Center on Thursday (22/3/2018 ).
He added, which is emphasized in the event this time Telkom Craft is a local product. "Physically present in Telkom Craft, online from 400 MSMEs in Blanja.com," he explained.
However, he added, it does not mean that our task in improving UMKM productivity is complete until here.
"The next PR is how to make them (UMKM) better understand the online world, so they are more inspired to grow their business," he explained.
According to Aulia, the biggest challenge to take UMKM into the market place is the mindset or habits of UMKM itself.
"Most MSMEs always say they do not know and are complicated because they are familiar with the traditional system, that's the biggest challenge," said Aulia.
"Indeed, when viewed by MSMEs this is basic, but the challenge is very big," he said.
