INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Country Brand Manager Shopee Indonesia, Rezky Yanuar said that he saw there are problems why local products are still not competitive than outside products in the market place. Because 90% of products sold in the market place is still dominated by overseas products.

He said at least there are some things that must be addressed so that local products can be competitive in the digital industry. Because after all the digital industry has developed very rapidly lately.

"The potential of local products that have problems from the beginning of marketing problems is not yet stable so there are some things to see for example, personal, human resources and standards must be improved," said Rezky in Jakarta, Tuesday (27/3).

He added that local products can actually compete and be more competitive. But the need for more touch, especially in terms of quality. In addition must have a good HR management.

Some of these problems make the contribution of local products is still not maximized. Therefore, Shopee according to him from the beginning has put a commitment to increase the contribution of local products.

"Contribution of local product problems in marketing," he added.

Proven through Platform Kreasi Nusantara Shopee open opportunities local products to be penetrated the digital world. Because by opening the opportunity is expected small and medium micro enterprises (UMKM) can grow and compete with foreign products.

Currently through the Platform according to him, from 850,000 sellers in Shopee 70% already dominated SMEs. Therefore, the platform needs to continue to raise local products in the digital world.
