Double Project KA Bogor -Sukabumi Phase I Completed Year End

INDUSTRY.co.id - Sukabumi - Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said the work program of double track railway construction of the Bogor-Sukabumi railway line of the Cigombong-Cicurug segment requires an investment of Rp 13 billion implemented from March and is expected to be completed in November.

While labor-intensive work programs include clearing of land, access roads, temporary bridges, excavation, ground leveling, counter reply, resin bearing, rail tracking and trenching.

Lintas Cigombong-Cicurug Completed Late 2018 Currently, double track railway development is underway which is Segment I for Cigombong-Cicurug crossing along 7.5 KM. The plan of this line will be completed by December 2018.

"Curug cigombong will be finished in December 2018. Progression is approximately 10 percent, because now we are completing the land (liberation) first," said Minister of Transportation.

Furthermore, the MOC said to concentrate on the Cigombong-Cicurug line due to the hilly land conditions.

"We concentrate here because the ups and downs (soil conditions) are very high, if up and down the train speed is slow and the ability is low. Here the degree is recorded 26/1000 when the maximum requirement or minimum 20/1000.So we reduce the 6 / mil, circuit (train) can be 8 or 10. So the human carrying capacity more, "said Minister of Transportation.

For Information The development of double track KA Bogor Sukabumi is divided into 2 segments, namely Segment Paledang Cicurug along 26.7 km which will start in 2018 and targeted to finish in 2019. While Segment II Cicurug Sukabumi along 30.5 km will be expected to be completed by 2020.
