INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Boeing and Lion Air Group on Tuesday inaugurated the purchase of 50 Boeing 737 MAX 10s as the latest generation of aircraft, which will be the most efficient and profitable single aisle jet in the aviation industry.

With a purchase contract worth about 6.24 billion US dollars according to the official list of Boeing aircraft prices released. Nominal Lion Air Group makes as a Boeing customer by booking the largest aircraft for the type of MAX 10 until today. This purchase is a continuation of Boeing and Lion Air Group commitments at the Paris Air Show 2017.
"Lion Air Group is delighted to be the first customer to purchase the latest version of the Boeing 737 MAX 10. The aircraft is benefiting more because it has a higher fuel efficient level, operational cost and is in line with the increasingly sophisticated fleet development". Said Edward Sirait, President and CEO of Lion Air Group.
He added, "Boeing 737 MAX is the perfect combination of single-aisle jet and will be the ideal aircraft as Lion Air Group's growth strategy. Boeing 737 MAX 10 will complement the MAX 8 and MAX 9 we have already operated. We will continue to lead the aviation market with the ability to provide the best ", he said.
