INDUSTRY.co.id - Tangerang- Two international airline carriers, Qantas Airways and Jetstar Asia Airways starting May 11, 2018 will move operations to Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Operation and Service Executive Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), Djody Prasetyo said, gradually a number of airlines with international routes in May 2018 will move operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3.

One by one, foreign airline companies moved from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3. This further confirmed Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as a world-class airport, "said Djody, Saturday (21/4/2018).

PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is inherent with its commitment as a company that most supports the growth of tourism in Indonesia. The real support is seen by the continuous increase and expansion of the terminal's grandest and most modern services with integrated transportation modes such as Railway and Airport Trains.

On the second day of May, on May 11, 2018, two airlines simultaneously moved operations, namely Qantas Airways and Jetstar Asia Airways, he said.

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is currently growing into a world-class airport whose busy ranks have overtaken Changi Airport and Incheon. PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is developing the movement of aircraft by constructing a North-South runway connecting lane in the East or called "east-cross taxiway" and third runway.

That is, the current hourly movement of aircraft reaches 81 movements, will be increased to 114 movements per hour.
