Its Official, Government Cut Toll Tariff Rp 1,000 Per Km

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government in this case the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has issued a Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) related to tariff reduction of Rp 1,000 per km, and pursing the class of vehicles from five groups to only three groups.

Minister PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono stated, the decree was said to have been issued on Sunday (22/4/2018) ago. The regulation has already been implemented in the recently opened toll road section, the Toll Ngawi-Wilangan.

"It is only implemented in the Ngawi-Wilangan Toll where the groups are still 1 to 5, but for groups 3-4 and 4-5, it costs the same," he said in Sumedang, West Java, Thursday (26/4).

Later, the policy will also be enforced on 39 other toll road sections. However, it will not be applied on Jakarta's inner-city toll road.

Nevertheless, he is still waiting for the decision from Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati related tax incentives to reduce the toll tariff.
