Mauritius Invests Rp 2 T Investment in East Kalimantan

INDUSTRY.co.id - Samarinda - Mauritius, an island nation in the Southwest Indian Ocean, is investing the highest in East Kalimantan Province in the first half of 2017 with a value of 151,892 million US dollars, equivalent to Rp2.02 trillion.
"The investment value of Foreign Investment (PMA) worth Rp2.02 trillion with a ratio of 1 US dollar equivalent to Rp13.300," said Head of East Kalimantan One Stop Service and Investment Office (DPMPTSP) Diddy Rusdiansyah in Samarinda on Sunday (8/6/2017)
Investment from Mauritius has not changed in the last three months, because the value of it already entered in the first quarter of 2017 and until the second quarter is still stagnant.
Throughout January - June 2017, investors from this country managed to surpass 21 investors from other countries that invest in East Kalimantan, or reach 50.60 percent of total investment of foreign direct investment worth US $ 300.16 million or equivalent Rp3, 99 trillion.
The number of projects undertaken by investors from countries in the African continent there are only three packages despite the greatest value.
The second place is an investor from Singapore with a value of 48.63 million US dollars, equivalent to Rp646, 78 billion or 16.20 percent of total foreign investment. The project works as many as 35 packages.
Third place is occupied by British investors with the value of foreign investment of 47.13 million dollars, equivalent to Rp626, 84 billion or 15.70 percent, while the project worked as many as eight packages.
The fourth is Malaysian investors with 6.08 percent of the value of investment of PMA 18.23 million dollars, or equivalent to Rp242, 58 billion.
While the fifth position is an investor from Channel Island 4.92 percent beran with investment of 14.76 million US dollars worth of foreign investment, or equivalent to Rp196, 37 billion with a project that is done only 1 package.
"While other small value projects such as Switzerland, Seycelles, Thailand, Turkey and Jordan, investors are only working on one project, but what the investment is worth, we have not received any reports," Diddy said.
