Minister Basuki: Repairs of the Cincin Lama Bridge Completed Eid D-10

Jakarta - Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the repair of the Cincin Lama Bridge is targeted for completion of D-10 Eid, so it can be crossed on Lebaran 2018. The bridge across the Bengawan Solo River collapsed on April 17, 2018, with overload.

"Installation of 6 bridges will be completed on May 23, 2018 and continued with the foundation of the bridge floor. It is expected that the H-10 or June 4, 2018 can be passed, "said Minister PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono when reviewing the location of the Old Ring Bridge bridge on Friday (11/5/2018). Currently the repair progress is 50% of which 3 steel frames are already installed.

The maintenance of the Cincin Lama Bridge is done routinely by the National Road Implementing Agency VIII, Directorate General of Highways. In 2018 the allocation of preservation funds and the rehabilitation of 15 bridges on the Babat-Tuban-Lamongan-Gresik road is Rp 5.7 billion. Of this amount, preservation for Old Ring Bridge and Ring of New Bridge is Rp 1.29 billion.
