Minister Airlangga Encourages the Industry Sector to Keep Producing

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto encourages industry players in Indonesia to continue to produce despite a number of terror acts that threaten security.

"It should be pointed out that economic activity is continuing and we encourage all parties to keep on producing, on the move, but security must be improved," Airlangga said at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/16/2018)

He said that economic activity that continues to operate as usual makes the goal of the perpetrators of terrorist acts to disturb the security of the country becomes unattainable.

Associated with investment, Airlangga said that all sectors still have positive confidence and belief towards Indonesia.

"For investment, we need legal certainty and security, but we are talking to the sector, all of them still have confidence, we must not be affected by negative threats," he said. On Wednesday (16/5) morning, at the Riau Regional Police Headquarters. Riau Police Officers shot dead four attackers.

The incident of attack in Riau followed a number of previous acts of terror that occurred in East Java, precisely in Surabaya and Sidoarjo.
