Prevent Violations, the Minister of Manpower Officially Forms Task Force

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, the Government through the Ministry of Manpower officially set up a Task Force (Task Force) for foreign workers (TKA).
This is in accordance with the Minister of Manpower Decree No. 73 of 2018 on the establishment of TKA Task Force that has been signed by the Minister of Labor Hanif Dhakiri.
"This is based on the recommendation from the House of Representatives Commission IX and the ministry of institutions, in essence today in order to follow up the working committee (Panja) from the House of Representatives Commission IX to form a task force and also respond to Law No. 20 of 2018 related to TKA," he said at the Ministry of Manpower, Jakarta (5/17/2018).
Hanif added there will be 45 people who will be members of the task force. Task force members will follow up on violations occurring in the provinces and districts.
"The number of task force is 45 people in the center, will identify some areas of provinces and districts that we deem necessary for supervision, such as to see the traffic of foreigners and so on," said Hanif.
"We are today together with ministries and agencies for the task force, and the task force will work within six months," he continued.
Hanif further explains that there are three high sectors which have committed violations so far. "There are three industries, first industry, then services and trade, and agriculture and maritime," said Hanif.
The government will continue to pay serious attention to the conducive investment climate for increased job creation.
Hanif said, this task force involves 24 Ministries and Institutions (K / L) who will oversee all kinds of violations that occurred.
"With the establishment of TKA Task Force, the supervision is more integrated because it involves 24 ministries and institutions, all of which will be supervised, whether administrative, licensing, all kinds of things," he said.
He said the Ministry of Manpower will conduct an evaluation during the next six months to see reports of violations that occurred.
"For the next 6 months we will evaluate Task Force will work within 6 months The role of function will be seen in the next period. This task force is adhoc and can be extended as needed," he said.
