Throughout 2017, Merdeka Copper Gold gained US $ 132.71 million in sales

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), a national mining company, through its subsidiary PT Bumi Suksesindo (BSI) achieved gold and silver production from the Tujuh Bukit mine in Banyuwangi, East Java, at 142,468 ounce (oz) of gold and 44,598 oz silver throughout 2017.

After production, throughout 2017 MDKA achieved sales of US $ 132.71 million with net income of US $ 43.1 million. While in 2016, Merdeka still recorded a loss of US $ 2.8 million because the Tujuh Bukit mine not yet in production.

MDKA President Director Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri said that 2017 is an important moment for MDKA to become a world class mining company. The reason, Merdeka managed to reach the production stage within two years since the listing of the initial shares (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
