Palestinians Need Political Assistance and Finance Help

INDUSTRY.co.id -Jakarta - Palestinian Deputy Foreign Minister Taysir Jaradat said the Palestinians need a variety of assistance from the international community including politics, spiritual and financial.

"Basically the Palestinians and their citizens also expect political assistance from other countries, and also need spiritual help to revive their souls," said Foreign Minister Taysir through an interpreter on the sidelines of the second SAP CEAPAD meeting, Jakarta, Thursday (31/5/2018)

Indonesia hosts the Senior Officials Meeting of the Conference on Cooperation between East Asian Countries for the Development of Palestine (SOM CEAPAD).

Foreign Minister Taysir said Palestinians also needed financial assistance to undertake various developmental transformations to boost the nation's economy.

"And also need financial help so they can wake up and rise again in front of the Israeli invaders," he told media crews.

Taysir said aid from countries and the international community will help bring about a Palestinian economic recovery.

"The aid can be to revive and make Palestine an independent country," he said.

"Conference on Cooperation between East Asian Countries for Development" (CEAPAD) is an international conference for East Asian countries in order to discuss new ways of assistance and cooperation with the Palestinians to build their nation.

CEAPAD was founded on Japan's initiative to support the realization of peace through a two-state solution for Middle East peace which is central to the challenges in the Middle East and North Africa region.
