Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Requested Security of Bakauheni-Merak Port Tightened

In addition to discussing the security, the Minister of Transportation also asked PT ASDP to open more docks to be used by travelers who use motorcycles.

"The number of travelers who use motorcycles is 60 percent of the total passengers, well it will generate potential because the number of passengers using motorcycles will increase. Therefore I ask the PT ASDP branch Bakauheni Port to provide not only dock 7 but also the most dock close to dock 1, "said Minister of Transportation.

"In Port Merak we will control the passengers who ride motorcycles, we point at the dock 6. But if the dock 6 itself will not fit, the police will help to be channeled to another gate." That was agreed, "added Minister of Transportation.

The appeal to the people who will be going home using the vessel to utilize the facilities online is also submitted by the Minister of Transportation.
