Trans Maluku Road Development in Seram Island Reached 640 Km

Seram Island in the north of Ambon Island is one of the big islands in Maluku with an area of ​​18,625 km2. The road on the island was originally a local government road which was then proposed to the PUPR Ministry to become a national road. In 2018, the budget for preservation and capacity building of national roads in Seram Island amounted to Rp 269 billion, which is used for routine maintenance of roads and bridges and road reconstruction along 20 km.

Trans Maluku Road is divided into several segments ranging from Amahai Harbor - Saleman along (84 Km), Saleman - Waisala (228 Km), Piru - Werinama (339 Km), and Saleman - Bula (263 Km).
