INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Directorate General of Civil Aviation Ministry of Transportation has issued 1,300 additional flights during the period of Eid 2018 freight period.

"Now it's about 1,300 'flight approval' of 4,000," said Director of Air Transport Kemenhub Maria Kristi Endah Murni in "Press Background" in Ministry of Transportation, Jakarta (6/6/2018)

Kristi said later will be seen the realization because not necessarily all additional flights are operated.

"The realization is not necessarily that much, we'll see after the Eid transportation, we calculate how many are used, but this is still the sixth, still long," he said.

However, he added, it had no effect on operations because airlines had to report 24 hours earlier if they did not use additional flight slots.

"For example, Sriwijaya wanted to fly the day after 7 pm, 24 hours before he knew it would not be used and had to return the slot, so it could be for others," he said.

He said it continued to open additional airline filings by airlines.

Meanwhile, for the total fleet of aircraft, which is 538 aircraft and tickets sold already 30.07 percent of the total available capacity.

Kristi said for inspection of airplane ramp checks on 13 airlines, that has been done 523 inspections at 36 airports.
